The OralFitnessCheck is an oral wellness screening test to measure the level of the oral biomarker aMMP-8. Patients receive an Oral Fitness Score which can motivate them to take action by improving their
oral hygiene and adhering to treatment
recommendations to obtain optimal oral health.

The ImplantFitnessCheck assesses the
level of aMMP-8 around each individual
implant. This is recommended for use on all seemingly healthy implants 2x times
per year in order to identify those
patients who should be advised to
increase their implant hygiene care,
which may help reduce the risk of
peri-implant disease.
Peer-reviewed, published research has
shown that aMMP-8 levels at prosthesis
delivery may predict if an implant is at risk of developing peri-implant bone loss in the future.

The PerioFitnessCheck assesses the level
of aMMP-8 from multiple (up to four)
specific sites. The result is an average of
the 2-4 sites sampled. This is
recommended for use on periodontal patients before treatment, sampling from 4 pockets of interest, or for use on screening up to four implants at once.
The indication is to identify those patients who should be advised to increase their
oral hygiene care, which may help
reduce the risk of periodontal disease or peri-implant disease in the future.
